I try to support Canadian companies where possible particularly if they offer a good product. It is very irritating as a Canadian however to have to pay in USD, then have to pay the 2.5% to the bank plus the exchange. Seems to me you could offer payment in your home currency and USD for those customers in the States.

    Thanks so much for taking the time to write in! I'm sorry to hear you're feeling frustrated here. You're right, AgileBits is proudly Canadian, so I spoke with some of the people in charge to figure out just why we are offering our product in US dollars.

    It turns out that our current system only allows for a single currency (yeah, that sucks, I know). With over 50% of our customers coming from the US it only makes sense to charge in USD.
