    @shari I have split your post into a new thread because it has nothing to do with the thread in which you posted.

    I believe there is no way to change your master password hint unless you also change your master password.

    You can, of course, change it to the same as before. At least, I think this is possible, maybe using a different password in between.

    Hi @shari,

    I just wanted to confirm that Stephen and danco are correct: To change the hint for your master password, you'll need to change your master password as well (but you can change it to the same one you've been using).

    In order to change your master password and hint, open the main 1Password app on your Mac and go to the menu option for 1Password > Preferences. Select the Security tab, then click the Change Master Password button.
