Shared vault logins don't sync

I'm sharing a vault through Dropbox with my wife across my Mac, my iphone, and her iphone. On her phone she can't login to new shared accounts until she switches to the shared vault in 1 password. It's as if the shared vault doesn't sync. Is this expected behavior?

    Hi @bsholbrook ,

    It's likely not switching to the shared vault that is making it work, but simply launching the app. Sync will happen when the 1Password app is launched. It can't sync when the app is not running (i.e. activating the extension in Safari will not make it sync).
