Still Using 1Password 3 after 2 upgrades

How do I upgrade the version in my app folder. I have upgraded twice and still using old versions. I click on 1PASSWORD 5 download and it opens but I don't run applications from my download folder

    If you downloaded the 1Password 5 app from our download site, make sure you unzip the downloaded file (or that may happen automatically) and move the 1Password 5.app file to the Applications folder.

    If you've purchased a license for 1Password 5 from our web store, you should have received an email with your license information, including a link to download your license file. To add your license file to 1Password 5, you can follow these steps.

    1Password 5 should be able to find your 1Password 3 data when you set it up for the first time. If you have any trouble getting set up, please let us know and we'll be happy to help! :)
