Adding site in iOS

Just curious. Is it possible to add web site from safari in ios? If so how.

Also how come a website on Mac (that has URL) not work on iOS. The web site on iOS seems to be different. Primarily the www is not on the mobile URL. Which results in 1Password not finding it and thus unable to fill fields on the phone.

Thanks and I look forward to your reply.

If your talking about safari browser on IOS then try this.
Too see the whole actual URL go to website you want to save as a login then touch the URL with your finger and you will see the whole actual website address.
Next with your finger touch and hold the URL until you see an option to copy all or select to copy the part you want.
Next go to your Login in 1password, edit or create a new login and where the entry space is it says website. Next touch with your finger and hold until you see the paste option and your URL will be entered.
I actually do not want the www in my login entry so I only use the example.com without the http:// or https://www and it works. After you paste just back space over the http://www. if you want to do that. It does not make any less secure because the web site determines that.
I do not know about a Mac because I do not have one.
Hope I'm right about this. It works for me.

Thanks for the assist, @kunder! :)

@BruceWeinstein, from your description, it sounds like the mobile version of that website is very different from the full desktop version. If the URL is different enough, and 1Password doesn't match it with your Login item, then (as kunder suggested), you can add the mobile URL to your Login item as a second website field.

I hope that answers your questions, but please let us know if you need more help. Thanks!
