1P does not prompt to save an item that’s open for editing?
This has happened twice to me recently:
I enter the details of an item, switch away from 1P and go do something else, then inadvertently quit 1P. There is no prompt for saving the still-open item. Is that correct behavior? I have lost one quite complex email configuration by this method.
Obviously, I need to be more careful, but I don’t quite understand why 1P doesn’t prompt to save an item open for editing before quitting, like a “well-behaved” app. If this is a ‘feature,” let me know how!

What version of 1P are you using, please? (Go to 1P > About 1Password and tell us exactly what it says there.)?
Do you see a "Resume editing" box at the bottom of the relevant entry in the main app when you check it?
