Good morning from France,

  • I’m using 1Password version #5.1
  • On a Mac MacBook Air running under OS X Yosemite 10.10.2
  • Syncing with iPad 2 and iPHone 6, both running under IOS 8.2

Despite all the technical information provided b AgileBits, I wish to upgrade the security of synchronisation by using now my home Wifi and stopping to use iCloud option.

But, for the same reason I wish to delete the last datas stored in iCloud by 1Password.

Could you help me in providing the way to do ?

Thank you for your help.

Marc

  • Hi @marcange,

Absolutely, we can help with that. Follow these steps and you should have all your 1Password data in iCloud wiped clean:

    • First off, make sure that no devices are still syncing to iCloud. So that no devices decide it'd be a good idea to re-upload data after we delete things.
    • Next, using 1Password for Mac, unlock using your Master Password, and make sure your Primary Vault is selected.
    • Now you should be able to use the Help > Troubleshooting > Reset iCloud Data menu item. Confirming the reset will delete everything we've stored in CloudKit for you.

That should do it for you. Let us know if you run into any issues.

    Rick
