1Password 5.3 not useable with Netgear router login pop-up

The browser is Safari on OS X 10.10. the Command+\ does not seem to help, nor is there an "auto-type" yet for Mac as I understand it. In contrast, auto-fill and submit works seamlessly with Keychain. I am a newbie to 1Password and may be missiing something. If not, this is a serious feature omission.

    Hi @Rob_in_NorCal,

    I don't own a Netgear router myself but the login process, does it involve a little window for the login that seems to sit on top of the browser rather than being an actual web page, something like this?

    If it is then that would be a basic access authentication that we can't handle in a standardised way via the browser. I believe Chrome and Firefox recently introduced an API to interact with them but Safari still has nothing.

    Am I on the right track at all with this thought?
