How many times can a Master Password be entered incorrectly before being "locked out" of system?

My employer is thinking of purchasing 1Password. My question in researching 1Password for him is how many times can a Master Password be entered incorrectly before one is "locked out" of the system? This is something that happens on a regular basis with him with various sites that require a user name and password. I am not here all the time. And ... what "happens" if one is locked out of one's own 1Password vault? Help? Thank you.

    There is no limit to the number of times you can try entering the master password. 1P will not lock you out however many failed attempts there are.
