I'm setting up 1Password on my iPad for the first time. I have successfully synced with Dropbox with Windows and on my iPhone. When I try to sync to my existing vault, my iPad crashes right after I choose the vault file in Dropbox. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling both Dropbox and 1Password, but I still have the same issue.

Here is my iPad crash report if it helps:

    Hi @ckelley65 ,

I'm so sorry to hear that you're having trouble getting your iPad set up with 1Password. Now, I'm curious ... is your whole iPad crashing, or just 1Password? Let's see if we can get a better idea about where things are getting tangled up. I'd like to ask you to create a Diagnostics Report from your iOS device:

    https://support.1password.com/diagnostics/ios.html

Then attach the entire file to an email to us: support+forum@agilebits.com

Please do not post your Diagnostics Report in the forums, but please do include a link to this thread in your email, along with your forum handle so that we can "connect the dots" when we see your Diagnostics Report in our inbox.

You should receive an automated reply from our BitBot assistant with a Support ID number. Please post that number here so we can quickly track down the Report and ensure that it is dealt with quickly. :)

Once we see the report we should be able to better assist you. Thanks in advance!

    Hi Megan,

To answer your question, it causes my iPad to crash and restart, not just the app. I guess I did not explain it well. I can't send a diagnostic report from 1Password on my iPad, because when 1Password opens, it prompts me to create a new vault or link to an existing vault. It is at that step I am trying to link to an existing vault in Dropbox. When I try yo do that step, it causes my iPad to crash. Hope that clears up the misunderstanding.

    Hi @ckelley65 ,

I have a suggestion. Try this:

    1. First, download the latest version. An update was released yesterday.
    2. If it still crashes, instead of trying to sync an existing vault, create a new vault using the same master password.
    3. Once that has been created, go to Settings -> Sync and try to setup Sync with Dropbox. When it asks you to merge, say yes.
    4. If it still crashes, go back in, create a new vault, and then send us a report without trying to sync with Dropbox. Hopefully it will still have the information from the previous attempt.

I followed your suggestions, but was only successful creating a new vault. Here are the steps I took:

I had updated 1Password to the new version last night, so I tried syncing to an existing vault, and experienced the same type of crash.
Then, I successfully created a new vault, but it crashed while trying to merge vaults.
Next, I tried sending a diagnostics report while in the new vault, but it crashed when I hit send.
I signed in to the new vault again, and this time I was able to create and send the diagnostic report.

My support ID for this issue is [#KSI-65879-685].
    Thanks,
    Crystal
