    @lutz Correct. Our custom fields are single-line. That being said, every item includes a multi-line edit for secure notes.

    @LauraR :+1:

    Is there any Public Roadmap to see and vote Feature Requests?

  • @lutz - I'm not sure we will be doing more formalized public 'polls' or 'voting' any time soon, since those can be easily gamed by persistent folks creating multiple accounts and such. We collect these feature requests for our developers and as you can see I have labelled this forum thread accordingly so people can post an 'and me' if they also would like to see feature.

    Is it possible add this feature for mac version, please ?

  • Hi @ctesniere,

    If we support this, it will be a cross-platform feature as all 1Password apps needs to be able to handle multi-line fields.

    Custom multi-line fields would be really helpful for storing SSH private keys in 1Password. Then, for example, when using an iPad SSH app, it would be trivial to one-click copy a key and use it for a new login session. As it is now, retrieving SSH keys from an item (like a Secure Note) requires laborious select-ing the right text in the "notes" field. Simplest would be to just modify "text" fields to accept newline characters pasted in (without editing capability). Fancier would be to add "note" as a field flavor for adding to any item, and give it one-click-ability.
