Trying to get 1P to automatically enter data in a field when logging into a website.

<input id="ibd_id" type="text" I entered ibd_id in 1P field type but that did not work. iP continues to enter the user name in that field. Any suggestions. See attached for the full line.

    Hi @hseobush,

What happens if you create a new Login item from within the browser? I'm wondering that might work better. If it doesn't how would you feel about posting the URL for the login page so we can investigate?

    Hi @hseobush,

I tried creating a new Login by filling in both fields in Safari and manually telling 1Password to save a new Login (the plus symbol in the top right hand corner of the 1Password extension 'bubble'). It saved and after reloading the page it filled both fields. The manual save seems to work for me, are you finding differently?

That worked. Thank you for your extremely fast help.

  • That's great, I'm glad Adam was able to help you fix this. On his behalf, you're welcome!
