How to change master password hint?

On the Windows version, how can the password hint be changed. Looking at the prompt window there is no reset password hint and confirming the password change just closes the dialog box. Please help.

Hi @jdavis90,

We're phasing out the use of password hints in the future of 1Password, the Windows program is the first to do this. You should not use the password hint as it can be used against you. If you really need to have a password hint, we recommend writing it down somewhere else instead.

For now, you can edit the .password.hint file in your 1Password.agilekeychain > data > default directory via Windows File Explorer.
