Transfer the license from v4 to v5
Hey,
I just started using your application and I'm looking forward to buying it. However, looks like the current Windows version is behind the Mac version. I don't want to buy the license just to find out that the new version was released and I need to pay for it all over again in a couple of months.
My question is: is the upgrade to the newer version free?

1Password 4 for Windows is the latest version that is compatible with 1Password 5 for Mac (it is not behind), 1Password 4 for Android and 1Password 5 for iOS.
We don't know if the next upgrade will be free, it certainly will not be a full price as we generally discount it greatly for current customers and sometime we do offer free upgrades or a long grace period for free upgrades. For an example, 1Password 4 for Windows was a free upgrade for all of our customers that purchased 1Password 1.x for Windows in 2013 and later, even though 1Password 4 came out later in 2014. 1Password 5 for Mac and iOS were free upgrades for 1Password 4 for Mac/iOS customers.
