Updating Mac with new license?

I've been using my personal license at work and finally convinced the company to purchase the program. I'm having a hard time figuring out how to remove my license and use the new company license in Password5? We have a couple of vaults all saved in Dropbox.

Any help would be great. thanks!

There really isn't any reason to remove your own license. It permits you to use 1Password on as many Macs as you use, regardless of where they are located or for what purpose. But if that is important to you to get the office installation on the office license, I'm sure there is a way for you to do that. I personally don't know where the file is that you need to delete, though. Someone who does will be along to help out.

Thanks, I do want to separate my personal license from work.

You could create a separate vault for work within your own license, if you wish.

    Hi @tpj,

This Starting Over guide should help you get set up with a fresh installation of 1Password on your work Mac, to which you can then apply the business's license.

How do I start over with an empty vault?
