I have forgotten my main password. I have not entered anything. Should I just uninstall and reinstall the app?

If you haven't yet saved anything in 1Password, then starting over is easy. You could go ahead and reinstall the app. You could also clear the app data from your device's application manager. Either method will allow you to start over with a brand new empty vault.
