I am having problems after updating and lack confidence to just delete. can you help?

Options

New Macbook. Updated and paid for license for latest 1Password version. Thought I installed it. Everything is there but can't get it work as it always did; Won't fill in login. I looked at my application folder and it appears that I have two 1Passwords: one from the website and the other, with the "old" icon. In my dock I still see the "old" icon and when I click on it, it says that I am running 3.8.22. I guess all I have to do is delete the "old" but will that mean I lose anything? As I mentioned, I just don't feel "strong" about deleting a program I have relied on since 2008! Can you help? Thanks. Joyce D

  • Hey @ensenyo! If you're sure everything is in the new copy of 1Password, you can feel free to remove the old one. I'd recommend referring to our upgrade guide to make sure you followed all the steps there before deleting the old version of the app. If you have any questions, let us know.
