Hi

I opened a shared vault and have lost my primary vault.
I cannot find the backup file anywhere.

Can't find it here: ~/Library/Application Support/1Password/1Password.agilekeychain
or here: ~/Library/Containers/com.agilebits.onepassword-osx/Data/Library/Application Support/1Password/Backups/

I can't even find a 1Password folder in Application Support.
I've also used finder to try find the 1Password.agilekeychain file, but nothing came up.

Under app preferences it says backup folder: Applications

Please help.

Thanks
Sean

@posmaymedia as your post relates to 1P3 for Mac I have moved the post from the 1Password for Mac forum to the 1P3 legacy forum where you will get more help.

    Hello @posmaymedia,

Sadly 1Password 3 doesn't support secondary vaults like 1Password 4/5 for Mac does. The older version only understands a single vault although in theory you might be able to jump between the two, a bit like how you would if you were a 1Password for Windows user. I have not tested that though.

The first question I have is, if you make use of the menu option File > Restore Data File from Backup..., do you see any backup entries listed in there and do any of them match what you would expect to see if it were your primary vault?

If you don't see any backups there can you create a diagnostic report for us please, this guide will assist.

Please do not post your Diagnostics Report in the forums

The email address you will want to use is support+forum@agilebits.com.

When sending the diagnostic report to the address above it would help immensely if you could include a link to this thread and your forum handle so we can connect the two.

Once you've sent the report a post here with the ticket ID will help us to keep an eye out for it. With access to the report we should be able to better assist you

    Hi @posmaymedia,

We've received your Diagnostics Report - thanks for sending it in! Someone from the support team will get back to you as soon as possible with some further information. We'll keep the conversation going directly via email to avoid complicating things between here and there. :)
