Synch between windows and mac without dropbox? [Folder sync and another cloud sync is the way to go]

Hi, I am using 1password to synch passwords between my private mac, office windows PC and iOS device. Until recently I used dropbox to synch my vault, and this worked well. But I'm no longer allowed to use dropbox on my office PC. How else can I synch the vault now? Wifi synch seems to only work between the PC or the MAC and my mobile devices, but not between PC and the MAC?

Thanks,
Patrick

  • Hi @patrickononepassword,

Sorry to hear that Dropbox isn't allowed in your company anymore.
Dropbox is the only officially supported method for syncing data between platforms.

However, you can try using iCloud Drive in combination with folder sync to synchronise the data between your home Mac and your work Windows PC.
iCloud Drive is rarely blocked and opening the synced file in 1Password 4 for Windows is as easy as pointing the app to the new sync location.

I hope this helps! Please let us know if you have any further questions.
