Looking for the 1Password helper in Chrome

I have been used to using 1Password in iOS for several years. I now have a ChromeBook and can't get the App working having downloaded it from the Store.
I get an error saying, "Looking for the 1Password helper". After a few seconds, I get another pop up saying something about 'External Protocol Request'.
Help please.

Extension Version: Not Provided
OS Version: Not Provided
Sync Type: Not Provided
Referrer: forum-search:Either the helper is not running, or something is preventing it from communicating with the 1Password browser extension.

    Hi @Manxie. 1Password 4 for Android requires Android OS. Unfortunately, we don't support Chrome OS currently.

    I'm curious as to which version of 1Password you were able to install on your Chromebook. Can you let me know? Thanks!
