How to fix annoying disabling of space key in Adobe apps when 1password for Chrome is active?

I use the 1password extension (v4.5.3.90) for Google Chrome (v48) and several Adobe CC apps.
When the Chrome extension is active and Chrome is open I cannot use the space key in Adobe apps (e.g. for navigating on a canvas).

The discussion was closed, but there is no fix – what am I missing?

    Hi @teonline,

    I've checked out our thread and I'm confident it's only been closed due to inactivity (closed by the forums automatically rather than us). We never heard back from those affected and so we're still at the same point we were before, we haven't found decent steps to reproduce and without these we're flying blind. If we can get steps to reproduce that's great, it means we can begin to try and figure out why some people are experiencing this yet we haven't managed to.

    I think I've managed to re-open the thread now so that you can post there, it seems silly not to use the same thread given there are already some attempts in there to figure out what is happening so if you can help us find the secret combination of whatever it is that causes this we will take a look.

    I don't have the Adobe CC apps so I'm useless with this one, Megan at least does seem to use them so if we can get to the point where she can reproduce this issue then we're in with a chance.
