Cannot open my 1Password vault(s) anymore

1Password opens normally, but I can't access my vaults after typing in my password, it gets stuck (see screenshot).

The last thing that shows in the console is :

Tried to quit and retry, tried to reboot my mac, to no avail. In case it's of interest, it still works on my iPhone.

• I then deleted the beta app, reinstalled version 6.0.1 (601003), everything works fine.
• Installed the 6.0.2.BETA-3 (602003), same problem as originally.
• Deleted again, installed 6.0.1, changed sync from iCloud to Dropbox
• Upgraded to BETA- 3, same problem, slightly different log

Hi @aaron_aardvarvk,

I'm sorry to hear that you're running into this issue. I'm looking into something right now that could be related to this. While it's in this state, could you:

• Launch Activity Monitor from /Applications/Utilities
• Find 1Password mini in the list
• Select 1Password mini
• Use the little gear button in the toolbar that has a down arrow, it should bring up a menu
• Select Sample Process

If you could post the file that it generates to pastebin, I could then take a look at it and see if I can see the same tell-tale signs for the issue I'm chasing.

Looks like the 6.0.3.BETA-1 (603001) solved the problem, everything is back to normal !

That's great to hear, @aaron_aardvarvk. I'm working on more fixes that should make what I think was the root cause of that problem go away completely.

• Tried to reboot my mac, still no luck with 6.0.2.
• Did a cold boot, just to be sure, fresh 6.0.2 install, I now have "1Password failed to connect to 1Password mini”, paste : http://pastebin.com/aENCmEUq
• Reinstalled 6.0.1 from the Apps store, it's working again

Thanks for the samples. Those confirm that you're running into the issue I'm working on. 6.0.1 should behave better than 6.0.2, but it's a toss up which is better between 6.0.1 and 6.0.3.BETA-2. In your case if 6.0.1 is working then that's great. What went into 6.0.3 so far is just a small fix, and I'm still working on the major change that needs to happen to make this problem become a non-issue.

I'm curious to know how many vaults you have, and if they're all syncing with OPVault or not.

Hi Rick, I have 7 vaults with ~1200 items total. The main one has 755 items and is in OPVault, but I see also a 1Password.agilekeychain in the 1passwordSync folder (I switched from iCloud to Dropbox and back once or twice).

I also have few test Team vaults, but I guess this is not of interest.
