I'm having the same issue. Started with link https://www.paypal.com/webapps/mpp/search-cause?charityId=57873&s=3, and unable to get 1password to fill in credentials on the subsequent login screen.

  • Thanks, @Daniel Sonnenfeld. As Brenty mentioned above our developers are aware of the difficulty. Sorry for the inconvenience!

My experience is using Safari, and not an app with the Safari View Controller. Perhaps I'm misunderstanding csg77's use case, and in that case my apologies!

  • Ah, I see. That would likely be a different issue then. I've split your comments off into a new thread in our Saving and Filling forum. Have you tried saving a new login for PayPal?

    Hi @Daniel Sonnenfeld,

So the first thing I tried was to log into PayPal as I might normally do but from my iPhone. I had no issues doing so, everything went fine so I went and looked at the URL you provided.

Would I be correct in assuming that you are filling in the amount you wish to donate, ticking the relevant boxes and then clicking the Donate with PayPal button but are still not logged in at this point?

The reason I ask is the standard login page for PayPal is at https://www.paypal.com/signin/?country.x=GB&locale.x=en_GB (I'm based in the UK if you hadn't guessed ) and it's a pretty standard login page that we can easily cope with. The Login page if you go via the URL you supplied though takes you to https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_express-checkout&useraction=commit&token=EC-1FE44166Y0789925N#/checkout/login and it is different. The big difference is the actual login form on this version of the page is inside an IFrame and right now those things are our nemesis on iOS devices. 1Password for iOS cannot fill inside an iFrame right now and it is sadly a known weakness, one that we're aware of and do hope to remedy.

Now I haven't verified this as I'm not sure if there is a confirmation page or not but what happens if you first log into PayPal by visiting https://www.paypal.com and then visit the page you're trying to use, does this allow you to make the donation from an iOS device?

I will make a note of this in our bug report as another site afflicted by this and I'm sorry you've been affected by it.
