Cannot sign into web pages

in 1Password in the Browser

When I try to access a web page, the userID and PW fields populate but does not complete the 'sign in'. This has been happening for some time now but I didn't pay attention whether this started to happen after an update or something like that. Any thoughts as to how I can get the 'sign in' to complete?

    Hi, @Stann. I'm sorry for the trouble you're having. It sounds like you might have been affected by a recent bug where we had to reset some users' "Automatically submit logins after filling" setting in 1Password > Preferences > Browser. Could you check if it is enabled? If it is enabled, please disable it, restart your Mac, and then come back and re-enable it. 1Password might prompt you to allow it to write a small script to a folder. If so, please allow it as this is the single most reliable way we've found to allow autosubmit. It is a one-line script that tells the system to simulate a human being pressing the return key on the keyboard.
