How to make our website 1Password-compatible.

Hi,

as a really log-time user of 1Password, I have trouble with our new website.
Here is registration form: https://beta.esga.gg/user/register

On this page, we are collecting both Nickname (name="username") and e-mail (name="email").
Generate pswd and fill works just great.
After saving new login into 1Password, it saves both username and password, but... in 1pswd's field username is stored nickname (from field Nickname/username), but for login, we are using email field instead. Is there any way to force 1pswd to store users's email instead of username into 1pswd's field username?

Coz in this way, when I try to fill login form via 1Pswd, in uses Nickname instead of E-mail for login...

Tried this post: https://support.1password.com/compatible-website-design/ but didn't answer.

PS:
Register page: https://beta.esga.gg/user/register
Login page: https://beta.esga.gg/user/login

Thanx a lot!
Maxim

Update (October 2019): More current information on website design can be found on our support site:

Design your website to work best with 1Password

    .
@Hrobocop There is a feature I've been working on in secret that might help you here. We have some more improvements we want to make to it before we publicize it more widely, but if you add the attribute data-onepassword-designation="username" to your email field, it should tell 1Password it is the designated username.

In order for this to work, you'll need the latest version of 1Password for Mac and the 1Password browser extension as well.

Could you give that a try and let me know how it works out for you? We definitely want to make a bigger deal out of this feature once we have given it a little bit more attention.

    Thanks!
