1Password has stopped recognizing my computer & Apple ID

After several years, 1Password just stopped recognizing my iMac, asks for my Apple ID, gives me an error code and says contact support. 1Password still works on my MacBook Pro. Can't access it to check the version but it is 6.0.1 on my MacBook Pro.

    @smedler - There is another long thread about this in the Mac forum. Bottom line: it's an Apple issue, world wide, and they are working to fix it.

    @smedler: Sorry for the trouble! Fortunately, there's an easy solution: often simply logging out of the App Store, restarting, and then logging back in will do the trick. Otherwise it may be necessary to dig into system settings or reinstall the app. But in any case, Apple is aware of the issue, so hopefully it won't happen again in the future.
