How can I temperately use an archive file

I need to temporarily access an archive file to look for a login that has been deleted. I then want to go back to my current data file, without causing issues.

    @stevemed: It isn't possible to "preview" data in a backup. It's encrypted, so it will need to be loaded completely and then decrypted using your Master Password in order to access it.

    However, rather than overwriting your current vault, a better option might be to create a brand new one to use temporarily to restore the older data and find what you're looking for. Then you can delete it afterward. :)
