Extension button in Firefox and Chrome does not work

I upgraded from 1Password 3 to 1Password 4. I followed all the directions and the new extension buttons are visible in Firefox or Chrome however, when I click on them nothing happens.

Extension Version: 4.5.6.90
OS Version: Windows 10
Sync Type: Dropbox

    It looks like some piece of software on your PC is interfering with the communication between 1Password, the 1Password Helper (a necessary background application) and the browser extensions.
    The most common culprits are antivirus and firewall applications or the use of a proxy server.

    In 1Password 4 for Windows we introduced a new security feature (code signature verification) and anti-malware software sometimes blocks this feature for now reason.

    Can you please tell us which security software you're using and whether you're using a proxy server?
