Chrome extension not working - stopping at 1Password helper

I am trying to enable the 1Password extension for Chrome. It installed successfully, but I cannot get past the "Looking for the 1Password helper" stage (see attachement).

I've made sure I have the most updated version of Chrome and 1Password.

Hi @jbergstein,

Are you able to open the main 1Password program and unlock it? If yes, in the 1Password program, go to the Help Menu > Restart 1Password Helper and then restart Chrome, see if it works now.
