Detailed Comparison Between Families & Teams

Does this exist? I realize Teams (and possibly Families) are under active development so perhaps you are waiting for the feature list to stabilize before creating it, but it would certainly be helpful.

If such a comparison doesn't exist, one specific feature I'd like clarification on is whether it's possible to recover Family accounts as explained here: https://support.1password.com/teams-admin-recovery/

I seem to recall the use case of aging family members was one of the key design use cases mentioned in the blog post announcing the Families plan, so I do hope this feature isn't limited to Teams?

I have aging in-laws and parents who will need help with their accounts, and after a recent scare where my in-laws had hackers social engineer their way into their online bank accounts, they are ready to take security more seriously. Despite this, they aren't ready to lose all independence or share all their account passwords. With their memories not what they once were, there is a real chance they might forget their master password if we set them up on 1Password.

The ability to recover a forgotten master password is critically important for everyone to have the peace of mind to:
a) begin using 1Password Families in the first place, and
b) convince them to actually set a complex master password, with the assurance that my spouse or I would be able to unlock their personal vault account if they happen to forget their master password.

    @EnerJi,

    There is not a detailed side-by-side comparison on our website at this time, but you can read the details for each on these pages:

    https://1password.com/teams/pricing/

    Yep. Recovery is a feature in both.

    In the case of your in-laws and parents, you may wish to have a discussion with them to simply have access to their accounts (perhaps through an Emergency Kit stored in a safe deposit box legally accessible only if they are incapable of accessing the accounts themselves). Otherwise, you may be in a bind as the recovery procedure requires access to the email account associated with the account.

    I hope that helps. Please let me know.

    Thanks @khad for the quick reply - great to hear that account recovery is included.

    Good reminder about needing access to the email address for recovery - and also a good reminder that I need to have them strengthen their email security as well.
