1Password 4 Password Generator - diceware

Hey,
today I wanted to change my Master Password to a new diceware-generated one. With the recipe being 5 words with spaces in between, the 1Password 4 for Windows Generator shows a pretty low strength (41%) while the 1Password 6 for iOS one gives me a fully green strength bar. What is the difference and is it better to use the iOS Generator since it's newer?

    @gamma6: Indeed. This is pretty confusing. I'm sorry about that!

    1Password for iOS actually doesn't use Diceware™. It's our own Wordlist which includes many of the same words included in Diceware™, but it's a lot bigger. You can find more details on this in @jpgoldberg's in-depth replies in another forum discussion about the feature. But the short version is that 1Password for iOS (and Mac) use the newer, longer Wordlist, which means any password generated with it has greater entropy, and is therefore going to be even harder to guess given the same length.
