if I change a secondary vault password shared among other team members shouldn't it ask you to re-login? As now, the vault is available as before and I didn't have to re-insert my passoword.

THanks!

    Hey there @claudiu,

    Thanks for asking this question.

Technically you would not actually need to do that!

Basically when you enter the password for a vault, it is used to create a cryptographic key which can decrypt your data.

When you setup a secondary vault we create the key, and then throw away the password. The key is then kept in your Primary vault, safe and encrypted with your Master Password. So when you unlock your Primary vault, we then use the keys for the secondary vaults to unlock them in turn.

So essentially even if you change the password for your secondary vault, your Primary vault already "skipped" the step of needing to know your password, and can just decrypt your other vaults with their keys.

I hope that explains it! :chuffed:
