How to get a 1Password.com account if purchase was made on Mac App Store?

I just purchased 1Password from the Mac App Store for my macbook. I then downloaded 1Password for my iPhone. I would like to keep the password data in sync between these devices (automatically), and I believe getting an account on your website is the best way. How do I get a site account (team or family?) without paying again?

    Hi @mcrosby114,

    At this time, there is no way to migrate a paid license into a subscription plan. If your purchase was made recently, you might be able to contact Apple directly and request a refund. Unfortunately, we have no control over purchases made through the Mac App Store, but if Apple is able to refund your purchase price, you’ll be all ready to sign up for 1Password Teams or 1Password Families. :)
