1password 4 and family

I have created a family account in yet another attempt for other family members to use a password manager. However, I am not finding any option in 1password 4 on Mac for accessing an online vault. Despite having newer devices, my workhorse is a 17" MBP running MacOS 10.9, which I am loathe to update just for 1password. Please advise how I can use your family offering with this.

    Hi @snowblink,

    We really appreciate your attempts to be a 1Password ambassador for your family! Unfortunately, 1Password 4 was built before the days of 1Password Families, so it has no way to read data from 1Password accounts. To access 1Password on an older system, at this time the best option is to use the web interface. Currently our browser extensions cannot interact with the web interface, so you would need to copy and paste information that you needed to fill, but, if you’re unwilling to upgrade, it’s an option. :)
