What is the difference between a standard subscription or a license?
I'm comparing just the personal use of the subscription ($2.99/mo, if billed annually) vs a personal subscription ($64.99). What differences are there with respect to features?
Second, are we able to pay the subscription cost via Google Play (from our devices)?

Hi @rebelx13,
The major difference is that you don't get any of the data services that's only available with a subscription, such as having your data available to you everywhere including a web app running on 1Password.com servers with your data. With the standalone license, you have to sync your data between computers and mobile devices yourself, such as using Dropbox. The subscription model will handle all of this for you, you just sign in to your 1Password account and your data is already available for you, nothing else is required.
The next big bonus is that you get access to all of our 1Password apps on all platforms we support and future upgrades are included automatically. You can find more information here.

Just to be clear, the $64.99 is for purchasing a standalone desktop license that works on Mac and Windows only. You do not get future upgrades and mobile apps are not included either. This is the traditional software model where you're buying for the apps only and you manage your data directly the way you want it.
