how do I know if my data is stored locally or on the cloud. I cant find the option in settings

I want to store my data locally and not on the cloud. how can I check this? where do I deactivate cloud storage?

You'd want to stick with the stable 1Password 4 for Windows version, which you can find here.

1Password 6 Beta is being built with 1Password.com service in mind first and local vault files later down the line. While it has support for local folder sync, you can't yet create new local vaults nor modify the content for existing vault files.
