Chrome knows Yahoo finance username/password, but 1password always asks to save login - how to fix?

I told Chrome to remember my yahoo finance username/password.
But everytime I log into yahoo finance, (both at username and at password time),
1password presents a dialog box asking to 'save login'.
I find this to be extremely annoying.

I'm guessing that I could tell chrome not to remember username/password, but it seems like it's too convenient NOT to use.

Any suggestions?

  • Hi @dgscreamer ,

In the 1Password preferences under browser, there is a field there where you can add domains that will be ignored by 1Password. So if you put finance.yahoo.com, it will stop asking. Though be advised that if you ever reinstall Chrome, your username and password may be lost. 1Password has no control over usernames and passwords saved into Chrome. If you would like 1Password to save your username and password, ignore the above suggestion, and just click Save when it asks to save.

    Regards,
    Kevin
