Knox opens without a password

Knox used to require a password to open it, but now it doesn't. In a prior discussion on this problem the user was asked to make sure it was not in the Apple Keychain. It is not in my Apple Keychain. My Knox version number is 2.3.2. How can I make it require a password again?

@Dave Creek: The confusing thing is that Knox won't ever actually have a password of its own; rather, each vault you create will have a password. So if you're searching Keychain Access for "knox", you probably won't find anything. You'll need to search for the name of the vault itself and delete its entry — for example example.sparsebundle. I hope this helps! :)

  • That did it! Many thanks, Brenty

Sweet! Thanks for the update. You're totally welcome! I'm glad to hear that you were able to track down that pesky Keychain item. It sounds like you should be all set, but don't hesitate to reach out if we can be of further assistance. Have a great weekend! :)
