Problem with payment

I'm trying to make the payment, however I get a generic message that the payment was not made.
The card is ok, but it does international transactions.
How do I know what's wrong?

    Thanks for taking the time to contact us. I'm sorry you're having some trouble.

    Are you able to use the card for other transactions? Is it possible that the card issuer is trying to prevent fraud and wrongly detected the transaction as such? Have you called them to see what they say? That's where I would start first. If they say they aren't even seeing the transaction attempt on their end, that will help us narrow it down.
