Can't get old 1Password extension to work with parallel 1Password6 installed
Until two versions ago it was possible to have both versions installed on a machine and to use the old 1Password 4 and its extension in my browser. Now, that isn't possible anymore. :-(
- How can I activate the old extension and disable the new extension?
- Why didn't you mention that new behaviour in your update descriptions?

Hi @dahanbn,
Thanks for writing in. I've moved your thread to our Windows Beta forum since you're using a beta version of 1Password.
The only thing I can think of is the new installer, we did mention in the changelog that 1Password will now default to auto-starting itself upon reboots as the result of the new installer changeover. You'll need to disable the option in Settings > Options > General > Start 1Password automatically when I sign in to Windows, in order to let 1Password 4 Helper be the only one running.
Be sure to restart 1Password Helper in 1Password 4 to repair the registry entry.

Excellent! Thanks for the update. On behalf of Mike, you are most welcome! It sounds like you should be all set, but don't hesitate to reach out if we can be of further assistance. Cheers! :)
