1Password 6.3.359d will not sync automatically with 1Password.com

I use 1Password on the following platforms:

  • iOS 10.2.1
  • macOS 10.12.3
  • Windows 10

I have no problems with the iOS and macOS clients. However, if I make a change on iOS or macOS, then go to my Windows 10 machine, the changes never show up. There is no way to refresh/sync with the server (1password.com, as I have a family account). I have to end the process or exit out of 1Password Mini and then open the application again, which initiates a sync.

    Thanks for writing in.

    That is likely due to a network issue causing 1Password to drop its connection to our servers and it couldn't reconnect again on its own, thus why restarting the app works.

    We've added a few improvements in the latest 1Password 6.3 update to address this, which is coming sometime next week. If you want, you can enable the beta builds and get it now. If you see it again, lock and unlock the vault, wait 10 seconds, it should do a full sync automatically as the last resort.

    There is one issue we're still working on that's coming after 1Password 6.3, it should make it more robust.
