Apple App store v Agilebits download

If I have a personal account, is there a recommended version of 1Password that I should be using? (Mac App store v Agilebits download).

If you previously bought it on the Mac App Store, you can download it from there. Otherwise you have to download it from the Agilebits website. But it's essentially the same program.

thanks - I have both (for some reason). Are they both exactly the same? ...I always thought the App Store version couldn't do certain things?

Feature-wise they are exactly the same. I think there was some limitation with iCloud sync on the App Store version a long time ago. But I believe that's been resolved.
