Trouble launching or updating 1Password for Mac if you installed it from our website

Due to an expired provisioning profile and a format change in the developer certificate, customers who downloaded 1Password for Mac directly from our site may experience trouble opening or updating it. (If you installed 1Password from the Mac App Store, you're not affected.) We've identified and solved these issues in an update for version 6.5.5.

If you see the error "1Password failed to connect to 1Password mini" or are unable to update the app, you will need to manually update to the latest version by following the steps in:
