iOS to Mac WLAN sync question

I use 1PASSWORD on my iPhone and Mac Pro. I use WLAN local syncing only. The sync works fine manually but my iPhone is constantly asking me to open the wifi sync window on the mac when I open it on the phone for normal use. Is there any way to just have the sync happen manually? It's nice that it try's to keep both devices synced all the time but it seems it's not reliable enough and gives constant pop-ups on the phone. Very annoying

    Thanks for taking the time to write in.

    We have made attempts to significantly reduce the number of times you'll see this popup, but it is not possible to remove it entirely. Sorry. If it causes a great amount of annoyance I'd recommend looking into a different sync method:

    Sync your 1Password data
