1Password 6.6.4: Copying while editing copies old field contents

This only happens in certain fields, such as "license key".

• Edit an existing item.
• Type extra stuff into one of the affected fields (such as 'license key').
• Cmd+a and Cmd+c...
• Paste it somewhere... it will paste the old pre-edit contents of that field...

@Temptin,

I took a look at the code behind this and it appears that its intentionally filtering out any unsaved data from the copy. I'm not really sure why that would be the case so I have filed a bug to investigate further.

@rudy Thanks. Seems like an odd thing to do. May have been some ancient hack to solve some old bug. Will be interesting to see if it can be fixed.

Indeed, and I want to understand why that logic exists before I patch it to have the right behavior. It may very well be something that i can delete entirely and have it just do the right thing.
