I have a license for 1Password for Mac, but can't activate the version I've installed on new Mac

I purchased 1Password for Mac & Windows, and iPhone. I just got a new Mac and can't figure out how to activate it using my license which, ironically, I have stored in 1Password :-)

I installed it from the download page first, then removed it and installed it from the Mac App Store. Still can't figure out how to activate. I clicked the "purchase" link but killed the app because it looked like it was about to charge my apple account $65.

Love the product, advocate it all the time.

    Hi @adiscgolfer,

    Sorry to hear you're having trouble adding your license to 1Password on your new Mac! I can definitely help you with this.

    A license from our web store won't work with the Mac App Store version of 1Password, so you'll need to delete the Mac App Store version and switch back to the AgileBits Store version. Just follow these steps:

    1. Go to the Applications folder on your Mac and drag 1Password.app to the Trash (do not use any app cleaning tools).
    2. Download the AgileBits Store version from our download site.
    3. Open the downloaded .pkg file to start the installation and follow the steps.
    4. When you're done, find the new 1Password 6.app file in the Applications folder and double-click on it.

    If you see the 'Welcome' screen, you'll need to go through the setup (if you sync your 1Password data with Dropbox, choose the option to sync with Dropbox). The 1Password app might activate itself if your license file is stored in your vault. But if 1Password says it's in trial mode, you can activate it with your license by following the steps here: If you purchased 1Password from the AgileBits Store

    Hey @Drew_AG - thanks for all your help and support. This worked, and I was able to navigate to the license in the registration page in the app. One more happy customer for 3 years and going.
