Windows default browser ignored by 1PW

I've set Vivaldi as my default. It's a better Chrome - has reader view, and repositionable addin buttons. 1PW only give 3 choices. Why not just honor the windows default setting? This is annoying.

  • Hi @DoctorDan,

You're referring to the preference for the double-click action? If you set this to editing the item, clicking the URL in the details of a login item will open the URL in the default browser.

I hope this helps! Let us know if you have any other questions.

    Cheers,

    Alex

No, it doesn't seem to do that. It still opens Chrome.

@DoctorDan: It sounds like you may be experiencing a Windows bug we used to se a lot more of a while back. It was never completely clear, but it seemed like the default browser setting wasn't migrating correctly after updating Windows. Try setting it to another browser, and then set it back to Vivaldi. I've never been able to reproduce this intentionally, and can't now, but when this happened to me after the Anniversary update that helped. Let me know if that works for you! :)
