My emergency kit was stolen

I had my emergency kit on a USB drive as well as a paper copy of it, my USB drive was stolen today so I am wondering if there is a way to reset the emergency kit so that my account isn't compromised

    I just went into my account and regenerated my key, should that be the solution to the problem?

    Oh no, that sucks. It's always a nasty feeling when you get something stolen. Nothing to worry, though, as you are correct. Regenerating your Secret Key will render the one on the Emergency Kit absolutely useless. Since you have done so, you are safe. Did you, perchance, write your Master Password on your Emergency Kit? If so, you might want to change that too. Otherwise, you are safe with what you have done. :)

    Hi @amhmad - I'm sorry to hear about your Emergency Kit. Corey is correct, please make sure you generate a new Secret Key and I would also recommend changing you Master Password. After you have generated a new Secret Key and updated your Master Password, please make sure to print out a new Emergency Kit. Keep us posted if you have any additional questions. :smile:
