These are our forum rules, which you agree to when creating an account:

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this community to post any material which is knowingly false and/or defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy, or otherwise violative of any law. You agree not to post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you.

We at this community also reserve the right to reveal your identity (or whatever information we know about you) in the event of a complaint or legal action arising from any message posted by you. We log all internet protocol addresses accessing this web site.

Please note that advertisements, chain letters, pyramid schemes, and solicitations are inappropriate on this community.

We reserve the right to remove any content for any reason or no reason at all. We reserve the right to terminate any membership for any reason or no reason at all.

You must be at least 13 years of age to use this service.

The long and short of it is: be kind. Be respectful of other customers and of the AgileBits Team Members that are here to help you.

Being respectful includes but is not limited to:

  • Keeping discussions on topic, and related to 1Password
  • Not advertising other products or services
  • No name calling or other abusive behaviour

We're here to help, but the use of this support forum is a privilege, not a right.

It is also worth noting that this is a public discussion forum. Anyone on the internet can read what you post here. As such, please avoid posting any personal details or identifying information (e.g. email addresses, order numbers, full names, etc.) that you would not be comfortable having as public record. If you’d like to contact us about a matter which may require the sharing of some private details please email us instead:

support@agilebits.com

And never send us, or post on the forum, your Master Password or Secret Key for 1Password.

Unless requested to do so by an AgileBits Team Member, please do not contact us about an issue by multiple support channels (e.g. both the forum and email). Doing so slows down the support process for everyone by causing duplication of effort.

We tend to answer questions in the order in which they are received. This is not a live chat. Please try to avoid replying to yourself, as that will only delay a response.
