application on mac is not responding. Spinning Wheel of Death...

I upgraded to latest OS X and latest 1Password. The app does not start properly. I get the spinning wheel of death. and then I just have to cancel it. And spotlight can't find the app ??? very weird???

Help please!!

    Welcome to the forum, @greg_owens! I'm sorry for the trouble. I can't really speak to Spotlight itself, but you'd think it would be able to find the actual 1Password application. Where did you (re)install 1Password, and what version is it? For best results, you should typically have 1Password in /Applications on your Mac. Do you see it there? If so, have you already tried restarting your Mac? Do that if you haven't, and please let us know if any of that helps.
